The most wonderful time of the year is fast approaching.
Time flies by and before you know it we’re back round to this time of the year again. And before you say anything, I know it’s only the beginning of September, I have a calendar. But I also know when the shops begin their marketing for the holidays, and have you been in a high street store in the past 11 days? That’s right, as soon as August is up, the tinsel comes out and we forget any last hope we had of a beach break and sunshine and we’re all in on red and green.
And I love Christmas. Actually, that’s an understatement, I am absolutely obsessed with Christmas and I’ve already started Christmas shopping (don’t judge) for my little ones. I love the dark nights, the smell of gingerbread in the air, the jolly songs on the radio, the plethora of Christmas films that I watch every single year that somehow never seem to get old, the smiles on peoples faces when you give them a gift.
But I hate the stores!
I’m sure you know why, and I’m sure you do too. Although, it’s become so much easier thanks to online shopping, so it’s not all bad. But of course, there are certain things you can’t get online. One such thing is an item of clothing. I’m against buying clothing online as you can’t try it on, and the fit (at least for me) is much more important than the item itself. So I have to go to the store to try on any item my kids or partner are thinking about getting me.
Another thing I hate is the price. That’s right I said it, Christmas costs too much! Even if you attempt to stay conservative, you end up at a minimum, £3k in the hole looking to sell an arm and a leg in the January sales.
So how do we get past this? There is a way. What about if you could get items shipped to your door… for FREE!
No I haven’t lost my mind, I’m talking about product testing.
How it works is like this:
- You fill out a survey for the company
- You are shipped a product to test
- You fill out a follow up survey reviewing the product
- You get to keep the product!
This is a great way to save £100’s (if not £1000’s) on your Christmas shop this year.
You can sign up to be a product tester with Tester Keepers here!
But you have to be quick, they only have limited spots and they go very quick at this time of year. No wonder why!
